it is a very special thing when a buttefly lands
on you
the universe holds its breath
with you
perfect for diving
i would go with you
next time you need to breathe
i have never been swimming underwater with a butterfly but i have followed dragonflies in streams
i know that summer-glinting flash
of water and wing-green
and i have heard
of a light in cracks
of rocks held deep
reached by roots of certain trees
i love you

ohh..
you have returned
dreams
of water flying
breathing
with moments
of sunlight seeing
inside the crevice
of a rock
a small blue butterfly
has learned
to swim
and watching it
i am speechless
